After nearly a decade of working in London, Laura Hattrup and Moritz Schrödl established The Architecture Company in 2019, focusing on contextual, yet progressive design with a strong connection to place. Both partners have unique backgrounds and skill sets that complement each other and bring balance, depth and nuance to each project.

Their work is international with projects in Europe, Australia, the US, and the UK. The Architecture Company is nearing completion of several bespoke private residences in Germany with an eye on regional forms and craftsmanship, as well as a complete renovation in a Medieval city of an apartment housed in a historic print works building. Most recently they have partnered with builders in Victoria, Australia to develop sustainable houses in the local surf coast style and are designing a private residence on the East Coast of the United States.

In June 2024 The Architecture Company established a London presence to support their projects in the UK.
